Lizzie’s Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 5 1/2 cups all -purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups (4 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 cups (2 12 oz. packages) milk chocolate chips
  • I usually add another 1 – 1 1/2 cups of flour. I like the texture to be a little more stiff and not stick to the sides of the bowl.

Use a silpat baking mat

Bake at 325 degrees for 11-12 minutes
